Our Chat Site Our "chat thing" is really cool. You can chat from people all over the world. It's free and easy to join, just follow the instruction below, and you will be having fun chatting with some really cool people. We try to get everyone together on wednesday nights, but people are in chatroom quite often so swing in anytime.
First you have to scoop up a little program called mIRC and install it. You can find mIRC right here. You will have to scroll down a bit, and select the correct one for your system (16 or 32 bit). Install it and use the defaults. When you are done installing it click onto "file" then "setup" and make sure the server is set to "Random us DALnet server" Your Set! Then connect to the net as usual and open mIRC. Next mIRC will come up with a "mIRC Setup Box" double check to be sure the server is "Random Us DALnet server". Close that box out. Next Click on the little "lighting bolt" right under "file". mIRC will then come up with a "channels folder" box close it out. Now you should have a small box at the bottom, with your cursor blinking in it. Type in"/join #incontinencesupport". If anyone is there you will see there nickname as well as yours. If the room is empty, it will display your nickname only. Just Hang out, or check back every now and then. When I'm there, I check back every quarter hour, hope to see you there !!!!
It's shareware, $25 if you like it and continue to use it. Set-up is maybe even simpler than for PCs (everything is simpler on a Mac!). |
